Mezco ThunderCats.

In 2011, Mezco shipped the first cartoon-accurate ThunderCats action figures the adult-collector market had ever seen. The 14-inch Mega Scale line ran through 2017 across eleven releases: five core heroes, six SDCC and retail variants, and a Plush Snarf. At New York Toy Fair 2026, the brand confirmed ThunderCats is returning at 6-inch One:12 Collective scale.

The line is back. At NYTF 2026, Mezco confirmed Lion-O and gang are coming to the One:12 Collective. A stylized logo tease only at announcement: no figure prototypes shown, no release date, no characters named beyond "Lion-O & gang." Figure-by-figure reveals to follow.

Rough sculpts and paint tests Mezco surfaced during the Mega Scale run, before any of these pieces went to production tooling. Some made it through to the 14-inch line on the shelf above. Others, like the Mumm-Ra mummy-form sculpt, stayed on the workbench.
